Born and raised on a kibbutz in Israel, I have always been surrounded and inspired by nature.
After moving to Canada in 1973, I enrolled in Sheridan College School of Design, graduating with honours in 1977. My career as a full-time artist began as I exhibited at numerous art shows and galleries. However, living in a big city for many years served to deepen my longing for the outdoors.
In 2001, I relocated to a rural area where I could be surrounded by nature once again. My paintings on silk illustrate my love of colour, light, and space. In addition to painting on silk, I paint with acrylics on canvas. As well, I experiment with woodblock printing on Japanese paper. Over the years, I have received eleven awards for my works.
